I just found out how to make a text widget linking to my About page and I’m pretty chuffed with myself. I’ll have that bottle of wine now, please.
Maybe that’s a little too much celebrating too little work. Because there’s actually nothing magical about it. I googled “WordPress text widget with text link” and found this page on WordPress Support. For once, I followed the instructions and voila! Text widget with link to About page done.

Reading directions is good, speaking from a person who has been known to forge ahead without direction at times.
Google is pretty much my best friend when it comes to figuring out how to do anything, especially website/ coding related. Someone has definitely done it before and explained it for you! 🙂
