I just found out how to make a text widget linking to my About page and I’m pretty chuffed with myself. I’ll have that bottle of wine now, please.  Maybe that’s a little too much celebrating too little work. Because there’s actually nothing magical about it. I googled “WordPress text widget with text link” and found this page on WordPress Support. For once, I followed the instructions and voila!
